Job Description

As a Security Officer Hospital Emergency Assistance in Providence, RI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response protocols within a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, corridors, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and coordinating with appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, communicate observations to site leadership and/or emergency responders, and complete accurate incident and patrol documentation.
• Help support a respectful healthcare environment by providing directions, assisting with non-clinical requests, and maintaining professional interactions with patients, visitors, and staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Hospital-required vaccinations are required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
