Job Description

As a Security Officer Technology Patrol in Berkeley, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, observe vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify irregular conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
