Position Summary: Responsible for food preparation and execution throughout service in Fogg Café as well as other items.

Requirements

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Understanding of food items according to standards and proper preparation and execution.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation.
• Understanding of organization and cleanliness.
• Understanding set up and break down daily.
• Maintain consistent product.
• Understand and comply with basic operations as in prep lists, and scheduled cleaning operations.
• Maintain security and organization of storage area.
• Communicate par levels and workload.
• Willingness to go above and beyond for guess experience.
• Maintain proper food rotation and proper handling and storage.
• Assistance in organizing and storing incoming deliveries correctly.
• All other duties assigned by management.

• Consistency and quality product produced in accordance with kitchen standards.
• Amount of work and quality of work produced.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
• Attendance and promptness.
• Attitude, teamwork, professionalism, and awareness with a sense of urgency.
• Must be able to work in temperature extremes and noisy environments.
• Must be able to stand and exert a well-paced mobility for up to eight hours.
• Must be able to lift forty pounds.
• Must have manual hand and finger dexterity for adept use of kitchen equipment.
• Must be able to listen attentively and facilitate the communication process.
• A pre-employment background check required.
