Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Commercial Building in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a commercial real estate location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence for tenants, visitors, and employees. You will monitor access, support security-related procedures, respond to inquiries, and communicate clearly with onsite teams. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients at a commercial real estate front desk by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Greet visitors, verify access credentials, maintain visitor records, and direct guests in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from the front desk; report unusual activity and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while providing a professional Allied Universal presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
