Summary: Clinically competent Speech- language Pathologist to work part time on the acute medical floors to evaluate and provide intervention to patients that are referred for swallowing or speech-language/cognitive intervention. This SLP will also be cross trained for coverage on the inpatient rehabilitation unit. Independence in administering and interpreting formal and informal speech-language/cognitive evaluations, clinical swallow evaluations, and videofluoroscopic swallow studies is expected for this role.

Clinician effectively interacts with department leadership, physicians, staff, and other healthcare team members.

Requirements: Current license from the State of Illinois. Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA. CPR certification. 2 years hospital based clinical experience within the last 5 years.

Work Shift Details:

Days - First Shift, 3 days/week (Tues, Wed, Fri) 8am to 4:30pm
2 weekend shifts/month (Saturdays 8-430, Sundays 8-12)
1 holiday/year

The expected pay for this position is listed below:

$35.76 - $45.60

The final pay rate offered may be more than the posted range based on several factors including but not limited to: licensure, certifications, work experience, education, knowledge, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, market data, and more.
