Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Healthcare in Wellington, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position offers the opportunity to support patients, visitors, and staff while responding to security-related needs with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, patient-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, providing directions and assistance as needed.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role
• Minimum of 2 years of security experience.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
