Carpenter

We are looking for electricians to join our team in London and Greater London! Find an Expert is a platform where we connect service providers with customers. Jobs will be provided through the app based on your own postcode and you will have the flexibility to to accept or reject jobs. The role will involve attending pre-booked customer appointments to efficiently undertake a variety of carpentry tasks ranging from fixing lights and switches, heating and cooling, fire alarms, to new fuse box, rewiring or appliance installation. Flexible working hours and immediate start positions available. ResponsibilitiesBuilding foundations, installing floor beams, laying sub-flooring and installing walls and roofing systemsFitting and installing trim, doors, stairs, moulding and hardwareMeasuring, cutting and joining materials made of wood or wood substitutesRepairing and renovating wooden structuresReading and interpreting blueprints, drawings and sketchesRequirementsProven experience as a carpenterSolid understanding in residential, commercial and industrial buildingsWorking knowledge of carpentry toolsAbility to handle carpentry tools and equipment Good communication and interpersonal skillsFriendly with a great deal of patienceGood physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spacesDiploma from a trade school or successful completion of apprenticeshipValid license to practice the profession
