QA Engineer

OverviewWe are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Pecan POS. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your contributions will have a significant impact.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.Identify, record, and track bugs through to resolution.Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and improve product quality.Conduct regression testing and performance testing.Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on quality issues.RequirementsProven experience as a QA engineer or similar role.Familiarity with software testing methodologies and tools.Strong understanding of the software development life cycle.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Nice to haveExperience with automated testing tools.Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.Experience with performance and load testing.Familiarity with Agile methodologies.Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
