Clinical Lead – Children Services

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clinical Lead to join a well-established and growing provider of children’s services in the West Midlands. This role is ideal for a dedicated clinician with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care to children and young people with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight across children’s services
- Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality care in line with best practice
- Support and develop clinical and care teams through training, supervision, and mentorship
- Lead on care planning, clinical assessments, and risk management
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and external professionals
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and safeguarding standards
- Drive continuous improvement and contribute to service development initiatives
- Monitor clinical outcomes and maintain accurate documentation and reporting
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RNLD/RMN/RGN) or relevant clinical qualification
- Valid professional registration (e.g., NMC)
- Proven experience working with children or young people with complex needs
- Previous leadership or senior clinical experience
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, compliance, and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
- Full UK driving licence (desirable)
