Description
Pay is $200-210/hr.
- Work with the Health Services Administrator and the Mental Health Director in the coordination of the mental health care delivery system.
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients, as well as follow-up and chronic care appointments.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual youth needs.
- Provide education to youth about their treatment and ensure comprehension.
- Manage crisis situations effectively by conducting risk assessments and determining appropriate level of care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay current on advancements in psychiatry and behavioral health practices.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board certification in Psychiatry.
- Valid state medical license to practice as a Psychiatrist in the state of California.
- Proficiency in psychopharmacology.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective patient care.
- Experience in crisis management and behavioral health interventions.
