Description
We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our expanding production team as General Assembly Workers / Warehouse Operatives. This role is vital to the efficient operation of our manufacturing and warehouse facilities. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of performing a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment. Whether working on the assembly line or in the warehouse, the General Assembly Worker / Warehouse Operative will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:1. Assembly Line Duties:• Perform assembly tasks according to established procedures and quality standards.• Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently to assemble components or products.• Inspect finished products for defects or imperfections and make necessary adjustments.• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. 2. Warehouse Operations:• Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing incoming inventory and materials.• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.• Use warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move and handle materials.• Conduct inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels.• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times. 3. Quality Control:• Participate in quality control inspections to identify and report any product defects or issues.• Follow quality control procedures and guidelines to maintain product integrity and customer satisfaction.• Alert supervisors to any quality concerns and assist in implementing corrective actions as needed. 4. Safety Compliance:• Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safe work practices at all times.• Report any safety hazards or incidents to supervisors immediately. 5. Team Collaboration:• Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to achieve team goals and objectives.• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and coordination.• Support a positive work environment by demonstrating respect, cooperation, and a willingness to help others. Qualifications:• Leaving Certificate or equivalent or relevant work experience.• Experience in any electrical engineering or any engineering field is desirable.• Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or warehouse operations is preferred but not required.• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.• Basic math skills and the ability to accurately count, measure, and record inventory.• Physical stamina and the ability to lift, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.• Reliable attendance and punctuality. Additional Requirements:• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.• Willingness to undergo training on safety procedures and equipment operation.• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.• Willingness to comply with company policies and procedures, including dress code and safety regulations.
