Cost & Management Accountant

Cakum Global is recruiting a Cost & Management Accountant for our client based near Lae, Papua New Guinea.

Role Overview:
This role is focused on delivering financial insights, cost analysis, and budgeting support to drive better decision-making and operational efficiency across the business.

Key Highlights

• Provide detailed cost analysis to identify savings and performance improvements
• Manage product costing and monitor production-related expenses
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives
• Oversee purchase order workflows and ensure accurate financial processing
• Analyse financial data to identify trends and potential risks
• Work closely with procurement, inventory, and operations teams

Ideal Candidate

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–5 years' experience in cost or management accounting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail
• Good understanding of product costing and general ledger accounting
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams
