Schedule: PRN | Nights | Minimum 3 shifts per 6 week schedule

How you'll make an impact in this role

• Lead the development of individualized care plans by assessing patient diagnosis and respiratory needs to ensure every treatment is medically precise and outcome-driven.

• Implement and manage advanced respiratory therapies using state-of-the-art equipment to stabilize and improve the lung function of patients with complex insufficiencies.

• Direct life-saving interventions as a core member of the emergency resuscitation team, providing rapid-response expertise when every second counts.

• Empower patients and their families through clear education on their respiratory health and community resources, ensuring a safe and informed transition from hospital to home.

• Evaluate and refine treatment effectiveness by monitoring patient progress in real-time and adjusting medications or modalities to achieve the highest quality of care.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Indiana Respiratory Care Committee obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred.  American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred.  American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

 

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
