Pay: $18.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
As a Commercial Building Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of commercial office buildings, including:
- Cleaning and sanitizing washrooms.
- Cleaning lobbies, entrances, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and other common areas.
- Cleaning tenant office suites.
- Vacuuming carpets and mopping hard floors.
- Dusting surfaces, furniture, and fixtures.
- Emptying garbage and recycling bins.
- Restocking washroom and janitorial consumables (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc.).
- Spot cleaning glass, doors, and other high-touch surfaces.
- Reporting maintenance issues or supply shortages.
- Following all company safety procedures and cleaning standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous commercial cleaning experience is an asset but not required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Physically able to perform cleaning duties, including standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 30 lbs, and repetitive movements.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Reliable transportation to and from work is an asset.
