Area Market Manager, Minneapolis
Egg On A Roll: Our two Minneapolis stores, North Loop and Northeast Reports to: COO Schedule: Full time, early mornings, weekend availability required Pay: $25+ per hour, depending on experience, with a growth path as the brand expands
Who we are
Egg On A Roll is a fast-casual breakfast sandwich concept built around one thing nobody else has: a proprietary soufflé-style egg on a toasted brioche bun. We are open 7AM to 2PM, we move fast, and we are building toward franchising. Three stores today, more coming.
The job
We need someone on the ground in Minneapolis who can be his right hand: running the day-to-day at both Twin Cities stores.
This is not an office job. You will be on the line, prepping, doing dishes and splitting your week between North Loop and Northeast so both teams see you and both stores run to the same standard. A big part of this job happens outside the four walls. You will be the face of Egg On A Roll in the Twin Cities: walking into offices, gyms, and neighborhood businesses, building catering relationships, and getting the brand in front of people who haven't tried the sammies yet. Over time the role grows with the brand: new store support, training, and more responsibility as we add locations.
We are looking for a working manager who leads by doing, holds a crew accountable, and treats the numbers like they are their own.
What you will do
- Run day-to-day operations at both Minneapolis stores, with time balanced between the two
- Hire, train, and develop crew members
- Own food cost: ordering through our vendor, inventory counts, waste tracking, and portion control
- Use Toast reporting to plan prep and catch problems early
- Keep both stores clean, compliant, and inspection-ready every day
- Drive catering sales through direct outreach to local businesses, offices, and organizations, and manage the relationships you build
- Represent the brand in the community: local events, partnerships, and neighborhood networking
- Execute catering orders and coordinate with the COO on larger events
- Handle equipment issues, vendor contacts, and property management communication
- Be the first call for both stores when something goes sideways
- Support future store openings in the Twin Cities market
