Description
Project Manager 2 is part of the Dexcom Research and Development (R&D) organization. Project Manager 2 supports Senior Project Managers to plan, execute, and monitor activities related to product development projects. Main tasks are monitoring project plans, schedules, organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings, and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner. Another key responsibility is to manage, compile, and file the required documentation to support the Design History File (DHF).
Where you come in:
Utilize project management best practices and tools to coordinate project activities, resources, equipment, and information. Assist in the preparation of necessary presentation materials. Monitor project plans and schedules and coordinate with core team leadership and PMO to ensure project deadlines are met. Attend project meetings and prepare minutes/action items and distribute to team members Undertake project tasks and provide administrative support as needed. Track status of tasks for assigned projects and programs. Assess and organize project risks/issues and associate potential impacts with the project schedule and budget, providing solutions where applicable. Ensure projects adhere to product development process framework and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Create and maintain DHFs by compiling documents, gathering signatures, and managing revisions. Support creation of Design Control checklists and presentations Prioritize and manage Change Orders for Document Control Define and maintain project document repository
What makes you successful:
- Associate degree or bachelor’s degree
- Work experience as a Junior Project Manager or similar project associated role
- Medical device or similar experience working in an ISO regulated environment
- Knowledge of file management and administrative procedures
- Practical knowledge with Confluence, SharePoint, Smartsheet, Planview

Experience and Education Requirements:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2-5 years of related experience.
Remote Workplace: Your location will be a home office; you are not required to live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km). If you reside within commuting distance of a Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km) a hybrid working environment may be available. Ask about our Flex workplace option.
