Job Description:

Role Summary:

The Senior Category Delivery Advisor develops and delivers category and sourcing strategies for maintenance, turnaround and inspection services in Indonesia.

The role works closely with operations, maintenance, engineering, finance, legal and suppliers to deliver safe, compliant, competitive and sustainable commercial outcomes. It provides commercial leadership across the contract lifecycle, from strategy development and sourcing through contract management, supplier performance and dispute resolution.

The position supports business performance through strong customer engagement, market intelligence, commercial evaluation and supplier relationship management while applying bp procurement requirements, PTK-007 guidelines and applicable Indonesian regulations.

Key Accountabilities:

Category Strategy and Sourcing

  • Work with line/user to identify and collect demand planning across MTI and F&EE Category

  • Develop and implement MTI & F&EE category strategies aligned with business priorities.

  • Find opportunities to improve value, reduce risk and optimize total cost of ownership.

  • Use market intelligence, supplier insights and industry trends to support decision-making.

  • Build sourcing plans that support operational performance, local content objectives and long-term business needs.

Tendering and Commercial Delivery

  • Lead sophisticated sourcing activities, including RFPs, RFQs and commercial evaluations.

  • Develop fit-for-purpose contracting and remuneration strategies.

  • Prepare sourcing recommendations and commercial award justifications.

  • Deliver compliant procurement activities in line with bp governance requirements and PTK-007 expectations.

Negotiation and Contract Management

  • Lead commercial negotiations for strategically important contracts.

  • Apply commercial risk management and contract governance principles.

  • Draft, review and maintain commercial documentation and contractual correspondence.

  • Support the resolution of claims, disputes and contract performance issues.

Supplier Performance and Relationship Management

  • Manage relationships with strategic and critical suppliers.

  • Lead supplier performance reviews and improvement initiatives.

  • Drive supplier accountability against contract obligations and performance measures.

  • Promote innovation, value creation and continuous improvement through supplier partnerships.

Stakeholder Engagement and Leadership

  • Partner with operations, maintenance, engineering, finance, legal and other business functions.

  • Influence decisions through data-driven recommendations and commercial insight.

  • Lead cross-functional teams during sourcing, negotiation and contract execution activities.

  • Coach and mentor procurement professionals and broader interested parties.

Compliance and Governance

  • Apply bp procurement policies, PTK-007 requirements and applicable regulations.

  • Support internal audits, assurance activities and regulatory reporting.

  • Maintain high standards of ethics, compliance and commercial governance.

  • Promote safe and responsible procurement practices across all activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering, supply chain, procurement, business, finance, law or a related subject area.

  • Significant experience in procurement, category management, sourcing or commercial contracting.

  • Experience within the energy, oil and gas, petrochemical or industrial sectors.

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex tenders, negotiations and supplier relationships.

  • Strong understanding of contract management, commercial risk and supplier performance management.

  • Experience preparing commercial evaluations, sourcing recommendations and contract documentation.

  • Solid understanding of Indonesian procurement regulations and contracting practices.

  • Plan and implement Performance Review Meeting as per approved annual Supplier Management Framework

  • Manage contract change, claim management, and dispute.

  • PTK-007 certification or demonstrated experience applying SKK Migas PTK-007 procurement requirements.

  • Experience using SAP Ariba, SAP ERP and digital procurement systems.

  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Indonesia Regulatory and Compliance Requirements:

The successful candidate should demonstrate:

  • Solid understanding of SKK Migas PTK-007 procurement procedures.

  • Understanding of Indonesian local content requirements, including TKDN principles.

  • Knowledge of procurement governance within Indonesia's upstream oil and gas industry.

  • Ability to apply procurement and contracting requirements in line with PTK-007, company procedures and applicable regulations.

  • Experience supporting audits, procurement assurance activities and regulatory reviews where required.
