The Opportunity
Join our Employment Industrial Relations and Safety practice as an Administrative Assistant in our Brisbane office.
In this role you will provide essential administrative support to a high performing team of lawyers and be mentored by Legal Assistants in the group. You will enjoy variety in your day-to-day, build relationships with a broad range of internal stakeholders and benefit from learning and development opportunities to progress your career.
This role is full-time, Monday – Friday and 100% office based.
Please note, we cannot consider students, including law students, for this role.
What you’ll do
As an Administrative Assistant, you will perform a broad range of administrative tasks which will include, but are not limited to:
Supporting with diary management tasks – scheduling team and client meetings, booking internal meeting rooms and external locations (i.e. restaurants).
Document management – assist with creating and editing of documents using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Hard copy document management – printing, scanning, photocopying and archiving tasks, as well as managing incoming mail.
Financial management – reconciling expenses and assisting Legal Assistants with client billing.

What you’ll bring:
Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
Previous experience in an administration role, or as a supervisor in retail or hospitality.
A committed and reliable work ethic, demonstrating enthusiasm and proactivity in the workplace.
A friendly and professional approach, exhibited in your written and verbal communication style.
Strong attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and organised whilst managing competing priorities.
Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
An innovative mindset, curious about AI and emerging technologies.
