Job Purpose:

To ensure that materials are properly received and accounted for. That they are of good quality readily available always to meet company’s needs. To provide support services to factory.

Reporting Relationships:

Reports to Site Operations Manager

Dimensions:

• To receive all kinds of oil bulk (from Port Harcourt etc,) into the Beach Storage Tanks after the Quality Control Laboratory sampling.
• To issue or supply all kinds of oil from the storage tanks to Bleaching Section when requested by them.
• To document receipts of all kinds of materials and keep the abstract and all necessary records.
• To send to the Planning/Stores Manager the daily stock sheet of all the receipts made during the day.
• To do the monthly call-over, compare the abstract and physical figures to enhance progress.
• To report to his Manager any unforeseen circumstances and wait for his advice.
• Any other jobs that may be assigned to him by his immediate boss and Operations Manager.
• The provision of on-the-job training for all subordinate staff.
• The provision and maintenance of safe working conditions.
• The control and discipline of subordinate staff.
• To inform subordinates of their job responsibilities.
•  Systematically appraise the levels of their performance on their jobs.
• To communicate effectively with other supervisors on matters of organisational interest.
• Advising immediate boss on up-to-date developments in one’s areas of responsibilities.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Typical decisions made and if they are advisory or directly responsible for the outcome

• To ensure that correct quality and quantity of oil are received always.
• No failure to supply enough quantity materials for effective operation.
• No failure to make proper receipts and correct issues.
• Ensure correct receipts and issues.
• Ensure up-to-date records and proper documentation.
• Cleanliness and safety at all times.
• No mistakes in call-over and comparisons, and no failure to report inconsistencies promptly.
• No failure to carry out such assignments correctly

• Attach a preferred suppliers list if available
• Detail which networks the jobholder will be part of e.g., finance, category

KEY ATTRIBUTES

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY (OH&S)

Key Activities:

• To be aware of the hazards in the workplace within his control, and the control measures to reduce the risk associated with those hazards.
• Achieve 85% of action closure arising from monthly HSE inspection.
• Achieve 95% compliance with behaviour-based safety (BBS) walk around.

• Train 65% of the workforce on safety awareness.

ENVIROMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (EMS) OBJECTIVES

Key Activities:

• Understand roles and responsibilities and the importance of conformity with the EMS requirements.
• Implements and complies with EMS requirements relating to environmental aspects and impacts and other policies, procedures and /or regulations applicable to assigned jobs.

QUALITY AND PLAN COMPLIANCE DELIVERY: GMP

Key Activities:

Ensure that manufacturing operation meets stipulated GMP

Key Accountability:

To have a good knowledge of GMP requirements and application on site in line with GMP standard (PZC GMP standard/NAFDAC requirements)

QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (QMS) OBJECTIVES: (QMS)

Key Accountability:

To ensure the effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS) and improve on the system.

INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS

• To work with other staff continually to improve performance while adhering to legislative and company standards.

• To work closely as a team with the line manager and other leaders as to deliver set objectives

Qualification, Knowledge, Skills & Experience Needed:

Required Qualifications:

• OND/HND/BSc in Social Science, Engineering

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years work experience in a similar position
• Software Knowledge (Ms. Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Internet, etc)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to withstand stress and work under pressure
