Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Project Manager, Global Fulfilment leads the end-to-end delivery, governance, and strategic programme management of World Vision's Global Fulfillment portfolio of sponsor engagement products. The role is responsible for translating business priorities into successful project delivery, leading the planning, coordination and execution of globally produced Sponsor Engagement products, including Annual Progress Reports, Christmas Cards, Child Expression Worksheets, Printed Letter Workflow and future Global Fulfilment initiatives. The role provides programme leadership across multiple global initiatives, ensuring effective project governance, procurement and vendor management, financial stewardship and cross-functional collaboration. The Senior Project Manager drives continuous improvement, manages strategic risks and dependencies, oversees commercial engagements, and provides executive-level reporting to ensure products are delivered on time, within budget and to global quality standards.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Programme & Project Delivery
Lead the end-to-end project management of global Sponsor Engagement products including Annual Progress Reports, Christmas Cards, Child Expression Worksheets and Printed Letter Workflow. Establish governance, maintain project plans, RAID logs, decision registers, documentation, reporting, business requirements, process maps and delivery schedules. Identify recurring operational issues and root causes. Facilitate workshops, coordinate cross-functional teams, and resolve delivery issues.
Commercial & Vendor Management
Lead the commercial and vendor management activities for the Global Fulfillment portfolio, including procurement planning, development of Statements of Work (SOWs), Requests for Proposal (RFPs), contract development and renewals, vendor evaluation, onboarding, performance management, SLA’s, governance and issue resolution. Partner with Procurement, Legal and Finance to ensure contracts, purchasing activities and supplier relationships comply with organisational policies and deliver value for money.
Financial Management
Develop and manage programme budgets including annual planning, forecasting, financial tracking, global chargebacks, invoice management and financial reporting. Ensure expenditure aligns with approved budgets and organisational policies.
Strategic Leadership and continuous improvement
Provide strategic project leadership by identifying operational efficiencies, improving governance processes, driving cross-team collaboration, supporting portfolio planning and preparing executive communications, dashboards, AI opportunities and steering committee updates. Coach project teams on project management best practiceS and continuous improvement.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Information Systems, or related discipline.
- Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, Agile Project Management or equivalent certification preferred.
- 8+ years leading large, complex global projects, programmes, and production pipelines.
- Extensive experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives across international and cross-cultural teams.
- Strong business analysis and requirements gathering experience.
- Experience developing governance frameworks, reporting, and executive communications.
- Extensive experience managing end-to-end procurement processes, including developing Statements of Work (SOWs), Requests for Proposal (RFPs), vendor evaluation and contract negotiations.
- Demonstrated experience managing third-party vendors, supplier performance and commercial relationships.
- Experience partnering with Procurement, Legal and Finance to establish and manage contracts and ensure compliance with organisational policies.
- Experience managing significant project budgets and financial reporting.
- Experience facilitating workshops, stakeholder engagement and executive decision-making.
- Proven ability to manage ambiguity, competing priorities and organisational change.
- Excellent written and verbal English.
- Occasional international travel (up to 10%) as required.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience within international NGOs or global development organisations.
- Knowledge of Sponsor Engagement, Sponsorship or Customer Experience operations.
- Familiarity with digital and print product delivery and operational process improvement.
- Experience working within matrix organisations.
- Experience using Azure DevOps, Jira, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project or similar project management platforms.
