Education:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Master’s degree in Business, Health Administration, Finance or related field preferred.
Experience:
2+ years of experience required.

Knowledge of health insurance claims structure and analytics, including GPRO/HEDIS Quality measures, risk adjustment methodologies, efficiency of care and utilization metrics.
Experience with large data sets, clinical quality measures, and claims analysis. Advanced skills in Excel and ease with data management (i.e. MS Access, SQL)
Skill in oral and written communication and time management with ability to effectively present to and facilitate groups
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Works with claims data files and analytics tools to monitor aggregated and drilled down performance including risk adjusted efficiency and claims-based quality metrics
Works with the clinical and financial teams to identify trends and patterns in these complex data sets, draws conclusions, develops graphical and narrative summaries utilizing charts, graphs and images to appropriately display the information for presentation to stakeholders
Drives the design of financial and clinical outcomes reporting based on various sources including medical claims, disease registries, and electronic health records for population health activities, payer contracts, and GBMC employee health plan.
Analyzes large amounts of clinical data and turns key findings into strategic recommendations for specific clinical areas.
Design and develop reports, dashboards, scorecards, and other analytic results as necessary to support activities related to accountable care, managed care, and other GBHA goals.
Analyzes and generates reports on performance related to overall outcomes, utilization, risk adjusted total cost of care, population health, and care coordination.
Support the analysis of data from multiple sources, primarily claims files associated with value-based contracts.
Provide insight for informed decision-making and planning by identifying trends/patterns within complex data sets and visualizing and deploying the data to appropriately inform stakeholders.
Manage the technical related aspects of health analytics to support GBHA’s operational needs regarding data analysis and insight development.
Serves as subject matter expert to support the population health needs regarding claims data, value-based payer contracts, quality data and CRISP data.
Supports implementation initiatives for population health performance solutions.
Maintains current industry knowledge of healthcare financial, cost, reimbursement, market, regulatory and clinical trends, nationally and locally.
Pay Range
$58,488.99 - $93,582.39Final salary offer will be based on the candidate's qualifications, education, experience and alignment with our organizational needs.
