We are now looking for a Junior Sales Manager to join UPM Adhesive Materials  organization with focus on Turkiye Caucasian Countries and  the Middle East. The position is located in Istanbul, Turkiye.

What you will do

You will initially spend time with the Sales, Customer Service and Technical Support teams to gain an understanding of our value and product portfolio. You will also work closely with the Market Intelligence organization to build a strong foundation of market knowledge and business insight.

Your main tasks are

• Develop and plan sales, activities and campaigns for an assigned geography, market segment or customers

• Monitor sales volume, revenues, payments, credit risks and costs against forecasts to identify problem areas and suggest solutions

• Develop relationships and build trust with customers to successfully negotiate sales with existing and potential customers for our mutual benefit

• Collaboratee with internal partners (customer service, supply chain, production, corporate functions etc) to ensure customer commitments are met 

• Manage and develop relationships with traders to ensure fulfillment of agreed standards of service

• Contributee to the development of sales, customer retention, pricing, and distribution strategies for area of responsibility through provision of market intelligence and customer information

• Create customer satisfaction by exhibiting a drive to exceed customer expectations 

• Engage in new business development to include lead generation, qualification, and development, resulting in new sales for UPM AdMat

Who you are

• You have a university degree and relevant professional experience, typically around 3-5 years

• You have knowledge of industrial markets (B2B), products and services, sustainability and sales processes. Experience in the self-adhesive label industry or FMCG is an advantage

• You are proficient in English and Turkish

• You have experience using Microsoft Office applications and are familiar with SAP, Power BI and Salesforce

• You are willing and able to travel domestically and internationally as required by the role

• A valid driver's license is required for this role
