Overview

The Amenity Services Coordinator supports the delivery of high-quality workplace and tenant amenity services, including logistics, audio/visual and technology support, documentation, and training. The position coordinates multiple organizations and time-sensitive activities to ensure seamless service delivery and a positive customer experience.

Background

The Government Accountability Office (GAO) is an independent, nonpartisan legislative branch agency that supports Congress in meeting its constitutional responsibilities and improving the performance, transparency, and accountability of the Federal Government.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day amenity, workplace, tenant, and concierge services to meet customer and operational requirements.
  • Manage logistics for meetings, events, workplace activities, and other time-sensitive service requests.
  • Coordinate audio/visual and technology support, including setup, troubleshooting, and vendor or service provider coordination.
  • Serve as a point of contact for amenity service requests and ensure timely resolution of customer needs.
  • Coordinate multiple organizations, vendors, and service providers to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Develop and maintain procedures, schedules, service documentation, and operational records.
  • Support the development and delivery of training related to amenity services, workplace procedures, and technology.
  • Track service requests, actions, and deliverables to ensure timely completion and follow-up.
  • Identify service issues and coordinate appropriate resolutions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports, guides, presentations, and other documentation supporting amenity and workplace services.
  • Maintain strong customer service and professional relationships with tenants, stakeholders, and service providers.
  • Identify opportunities to improve amenity services, operational efficiency, and the overall customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Four years of logistics, tenant services, concierge, a/v & technology, workplace services support.
  • Experience coordinating multiple organizations and time-sensitive actions.
  • Strong documentation and customer service skills.

Bachelors Degree

Location and Work Hours

This position is 100% on-site and requires daily reporting to the following location:

 

GAO Headquarters

Washington, DC

 

This role is not eligible for remote or telework arrangements. Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the worksite and be able to reliably report on-site as required.

 

This position follows a standard 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday. Employees are expected to be available during core business hours of 8:00am- 5:00pm, with additional working hours scheduled outside of core hours as needed to fulfill the full work schedule.

 

The candidate must currently reside within commutable distance to the work location.

Compensation

This position is being recruited in support of a competitive federal contracting opportunity, and AES is continuing to develop its staffing, labor category, and compensation strategy. Because this position is expected to support a primarily remote workforce and qualified candidates may reside in different geographic markets throughout the United States, compensation expectations may vary considerably by location.

 

Final compensation will consider factors including geographic market, relevant experience, education, specialized records management expertise, applicable labor category requirements, and contractual and business considerations.
