$22.00 - $30.25Position Summary:
The Advanced Manufacturing Technician supports laboratory and manufacturing operations through the filling, bottling, labeling, and documentation of manufacturing buffers and components used in Bio-Techne products. This role operates semi-automated and fully automated manufacturing equipment, performs data collection and review activities, executes ERP transactions, and ensures the accuracy of production records. The position also supports process improvements, equipment qualifications and validations, and the training of new employees while maintaining compliance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Compile, analyze, and report production and manufacturing data of low to moderate complexity.
Perform laboratory maintenance and minor equipment repairs.
Calibrate, operate, and verify the performance of semi-automated and automated manufacturing equipment.
Make routine operational decisions based on production data and established procedures.
Communicate effectively across departments and coordinate with internal and external service providers.
Follow laboratory protocols and assist with drafting and revising Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Maintain compliance with safety regulations, chemical handling requirements, GMP, ISO standards, and company procedures.
Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements.
Troubleshoot manufacturing and equipment issues based on experience and established practices.
Consistently meet production schedules, cycle times, and quality requirements.
Utilize ERP systems and internal databases to execute transactions and maintain accurate records.
Execute weekly production schedules with minimal supervision.
Participate in production planning meetings and cross-functional projects.
Review and verify batch records for accuracy and completeness before release to downstream partners.
Assist in equipment validations and qualifications.
Train and mentor new manufacturing technicians.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent and up to 2 years of relevant experience
Or Associate degree preferred with Up to 1 year of relevant experience
Or 4-year science degree with no experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Manufacturing processes and laboratory operations.
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO quality requirements.
Safety procedures, chemical handling practices, and regulatory compliance.
Quality control processes and documentation standards.
Automated and semi-automated manufacturing equipment.
Data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Operation, calibration, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment.
Microsoft Office applications and manufacturing-related software systems.
ERP system navigation and transaction execution.
Training and mentoring team members.
Problem solving and continuous improvement activities.
Effective verbal and written communication.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Prioritize work and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Exercise sound judgment in routine manufacturing decisions.
Train and support junior technicians and new employees.
