Our client, a growing and highly respected commercial general contractor, is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead complex laboratory and technical construction projects in the Austin market. What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Senior Superintendent with a commercial general contractor
- Strong background in MEP coordination and technical building systems
- Experience delivering laboratory, life science, biotech, pharmaceutical, healthcare, cleanroom, or R&D facilities
- Familiarity with lab equipment installation, utility infrastructure, commissioning, and turnover processes
- Knowledge of NEMA standards and electrical systems within technical environments
- Ability to lead field operations, subcontractors, and project schedules on complex builds
- Strong communication and relationship management skills with clients, architects, engineers, and project teams
- Experience working in fast-paced, highly detailed project environments
Key Responsibilities
- Lead field operations from preconstruction through project completion
- Drive jobsite safety, quality control, and schedule performance
- Coordinate complex MEP systems and laboratory infrastructure requirements
- Manage subcontractors, daily site activities, and site logistics
- Lead OAC meetings and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project success
- Support commissioning, startup, and turnover of sophisticated laboratory and technical spaces
