We are seeking a talented individual to join our Guy Carpenter team in Warsaw. This is a hybrid role with a requirement to work at least three days a week from the office.
As a Broker / Senior Reinsurance Broker, you will play a key role in delivering treaty reinsurance solutions to clients across CEE markets. You will work within a highly collaborative, market-leading team, combining technical expertise, market knowledge, and strong client relationships to support tailored solutions for our clients.
We will count on you to:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, reinsurers, and colleagues
- Coordinate and manage the renewal process for existing reinsurance contracts
- Engage with clients and prospects to assess their needs and identify opportunities
- Support the design and structuring of new contracts for clients
- Place business with client-approved reinsurers
- Collaborate with the Data Analytics team to develop customized client solutions
- Negotiate competitive pricing, terms, and conditions with reinsurers to achieve favorable outcomes for clients
- Ensure the timely flow of materials and follow up on contract documentation
- Travel occasionally for business, when required
- Maintain a strong understanding of product lines, markets, and available solutions, while staying up to date with evolving risk and insurance market trends
- Monitor market developments and conditions to better serve clients and secure optimal terms from reinsurers
What you need to have:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a reinsurance broker / broker or underwriter
- Strong knowledge of the treaty reinsurance market in CEE
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and industry leaders at all levels
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Strong verbal and written English skills
- Good communication, presentation, and project management skills
- Ability to manage a significant workload through effective time management
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Technical expertise in reinsurance, with particular emphasis on property & casualty segments
