Description
We are looking for a Process Automation Engineer to join our team.
Quipu is the dedicated IT company of the ProCredit group and provides comprehensive end-to-end solutions for all ProCredit institutions, as well as for other banks and financial institutions This includes everything from electronic payment services to software systems, hybrid cloud hosting, and a host of other operations.
A 100% subsidiary of ProCredit Holding, Quipu was established in March 2004 and is headquartered in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Quipu plays a central role within the ProCredit group, providing a comprehensive range of support services that enable the banks to become competitive and efficient.
Role Overview
The Process Automation Engineer will design and build applications around business processes using modern workflow and orchestration technologies.
You will work with business processes, user interfaces and system integrations, translating business requirements into reliable production solutions.
This is a software engineering role. Experience with a specific workflow or process automation platform is not required. Strong engineering fundamentals and the ability to learn new technologies are more important than knowledge of a particular vendor product.
Responsibilities
Design and implement business processes and workflows.
Build and maintain workflow-based applications and user interfaces.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Integrate applications with internal and external systems through APIs.
Develop supporting application logic and integration components where required.
Work with analysts, architects and other engineers on solution design and implementation.
Troubleshoot and improve existing process automation solutions.
Write and maintain automated tests.
Participate in code and solution reviews.
Support applications through deployment and production.
Requirements
3+ years of professional software development experience.
Good understanding of software engineering principles and application design.
Experience with TypeScript and Angular.
Experience with REST APIs and system integrations.
Experience with at least one modern programming language such as C#, Java, TypeScript or Python.
Experience with relational databases and SQL.
Understanding of business processes and workflow concepts.
Familiarity with BPMN or similar process modelling approaches.
Experience with Git, automated testing and CI/CD.
Ability to analyse technical problems across multiple systems and independently drive them to resolution.
Nice to Have
Experience with FlowX.AI.
Experience with other workflow or BPM platforms such as Camunda, Flowable, Appian, Pega or IBM BAW.
Experience with microservices and distributed applications.
Experience with Kafka or other messaging technologies.
Docker or Kubernetes knowledge.
Experience in banking, financial services or other complex enterprise environments.
