This position is responsible for serving as a strategic partner and technical expert in delivering scalable, high-impact reporting and integration solutions across HRScale’s Workday ecosystem. The role leads initiatives that enhance data accessibility, accuracy, and usability for internal and external stakeholders, driving operational efficiency and supporting business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Leads the design, development, and optimization of custom, advanced, composite, or simple Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields to support business intelligence and compliance needs.
- Partners with stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into actionable reporting solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Owns the end-to-end lifecycle of reporting requests, including scoping, documentation, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support, partnering with ITS where appropriate.
- Ensures data integrity and compliance with internal controls, including SOX and data privacy regulations.
- Architects and implements Workday integrations using EIBs, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, Orchestrates, and PECI to enable seamless data exchange between Workday and external systems.
- Collaborates with IT, data engineering, and vendor teams to troubleshoot and optimize integration workflows.
- Maintains and enhances integration documentation, version control, and audit trails.
- Acts as a liaison between HR, Payroll, Finance, and Technology teams to ensure reporting and integration solutions meet cross-functional needs.
- Provides mentorship and guidance to junior team members and contribute to training materials and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Represents the team in client meetings, sales support, and strategic planning sessions as a subject matter expert.
- Monitors Workday releases and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and automation.
- Recommends enhancements to reporting and integration processes to improve scalability, performance, and user experience.
- Participates in enterprise-wide data governance and analytics initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, HR Technology, or four years of related field required.
- Three to Five years of experience in Workday reporting and integrations, preferably in a multi-client or enterprise environment.
- Workday certifications in Reporting, Integration Core, and Workday Studio strongly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, and Composite Reports.
- Strong understanding of Workday reporting and integration frameworks including EIBs, Studio, PECI, BIRT, Orchestrate and Core Connectors.
- Proficiency in SQL, OQL, WQL, XML, XSLT, and object-oriented data structures.
- Proficiency in creating integrations through Workday Orchestrate.
- Experience with data governance, security roles, and privacy compliance.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
