Line Cook - Full-Time

Waverly Heights is currently seeking a full-time Line Cook to join our team. At Waverly, cooking is considered an art, so if you are a culinary artist who enjoys making a difference, we encourage you to apply! The Line Cook's responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with the Executive Chef or Food Service Manager to plan menus
• Preparing and cooking meals according to menu specifications
• Ensuring all dishes are prepared with attention to quality, taste, and presentation
• Maintaining a clean and organized work station, following food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, utensils and food surfaces regularly
• Complying with local health department regulations and food safety standards

Our full-time Line Cooks are scheduled up to 40 hours per week and includes working every other weekend. Previous cooking experience is required. Our ideal candidate will have exceptional customer services skills, a positive attitude, work well in a team environment, and have the ability and willingness to learn.
