Location: Kolkata
Objective
Drive sales growth, distributor development, and customer engagement for food ingredient solutions across the assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships and identify new business opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts, manage pricing, and support gross margin growth.
- Manage distributors through scorecards, reviews, and business planning.
- Identify, appoint, and onboard new distributors to expand market reach.
- Drive secondary sales and market penetration through channel partners.
- Develop the sales plan aligned with market trends and customer needs.
- Monitor competitor activities, market intelligence, food technology trends, and regulatory developments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in food technology, Food Science, Chemistry, Business or related discipline.
- 1-3 years of sales experience in food ingredients, additives, specialty ingredients, or food processing industry.
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.
