Overview

A warm and active family newly relocated to San Francisco is seeking an experienced part-time Nanny/Family Assistant to join their household located in the Presidio. The family has a 2-year-old who attends preschool within a 15 minute walk from the family home. The ideal candidate is someone who genuinely loves children, is reliable and professional, is comfortable in a hands-on household role, and can seamlessly blend childcare with light household support for the whole family. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone looking for a long-term position with a lovely, easygoing family.The position is Monday through Friday and works best as a split schedule. The morning shift runs from approximately 7:00am to 11:00am, covering breakfast, getting the child ready, and school dropoff, followed by cleaning and laundry. The afternoon and evening shift picks back up around 3:00pm for dinner prep, pickup, and dinner, until about 6:00pm or 7:00pm. Candidates comfortable with a vegan and vegetarian household are strongly preferred, as all cooking will reflect the family's plant-based diet.

Responsibilities

• School pickup and dropoff 

• Engage the child in age-appropriate activities before and after school
• Cooking breakfast and dinner for the whole family
• General house chores and cleaning  
• Laundry
• General household support as needed

Qualifications

• Warm, nurturing, and energetic with young children
• Comfortable taking on household tasks beyond childcare
• Reliable, trustworthy, and professional
• Turkish or Mandarin speaking a plus
• Driving a plus but not required

Requirements

• Experience with toddlers required
• Strong verifiable references from comparable roles
• CPR and First-Aid Certified
• Valid US work authorization

Salary and Benefits

• $40 to 50 per hour and up based on experience
