Scope
Responsible for coordinating internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure projects are successfully executed and delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques, and effectively manage changes in project scope, schedule, and cost.
The position requires the management of engineered products and systems. Additional responsibilities include Bills of Materials (BOMs), estimating, project management, sales support, documentation, and other activities necessary to create and support the Company's products and services.
Requirements:
- Proven project management experience within a production or manufacturing environment.
- Experience with fabrication of piping systems and the assembly and integration of electrical and instrumentation components is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Technology, Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
- Extensive relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate day-to-day project activities.
- Develop and maintain project schedules to support efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with management, engineers, drafters, technical staff, contractors, customers, and vendors throughout project execution and completion.
- Assist with troubleshooting shop and field project issues.
- Perform material takeoffs, estimating, proposal development, and creation of Bills of Materials (BOMs), as needed.
- Maintain accurate project documentation.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers regarding project status, schedules, deliverables, and project-related concerns.
- Monitor project costs and budgets and identify potential cost or schedule impacts.
- Identify, document, and communicate changes in project scope, schedule, and cost.
- Coordinate project activities across Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Assembly/Integration, and other departments as needed.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Perform other duties as necessary to support company projects.
