About the Role

We are seeking a Teamcenter Implementation/Customization & MCAD Specialist with hands-on experience in Siemens Teamcenter server-side customization, integration, MCAD/ECAD integration. You will design, build, and maintain custom solutions across the Teamcenter stack (ITK/BMIDE/AWC/SOA), design/orchestrate integrations with multiple upstream and downstream systems, and ensure performance, security, and reliability of our PLM ecosystem. The role focuses on end-to-end CAD data management for PTC Creo and CATIA, ECAD integration with Siemens Xpedition. Along with this, you will design the key solution capabilities across Supplier, Program and Schedule Management. This is a key role interfacing with product owners, other architects, CAD admins, and enterprise IT to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing PLM capabilities.

What You Will Do

  • Lead end-to-end Teamcenter implementation activities, including requirements analysis, solution architecture, functional and technical design, configuration, customization, testing, deployment, and production support. 
  • Design and develop Teamcenter solutions using ITK (C/C++), SOA/REST services, BMIDE data-model extensions, workflow handlers, Active Workspace configuration and customization, and supporting utilities. 
  • Configure and implement product structures and lifecycle processes, including EBOM, DBOM, MBOM, BOM alignment, variant management, change management, program management, and supplier quality processes. 
  • Lead integrations between Teamcenter and enterprise or engineering systems using eQube or equivalent middleware, REST/SOAP APIs, message queues, microservices, and ETL pipelines. 
  • Support MCAD and ECAD integrations, including Creo, CATIA, and Xpedition, with focus on CAD data management, BOM synchronization, visualization, release, and change processes. 
  • Define technical standards, conduct design and code reviews, troubleshoot complex production issues, and optimize Teamcenter performance, security, maintainability, and upgrade readiness. 
  • Work with business and technical stakeholders to plan releases, manage risks and dependencies, prepare documentation, and guide developers and administrators during implementation. 

What You Need to Be Successful

  • 6-8 years of experience in Siemens Teamcenter implementation and customization, covering enterprise-scale solution delivery and production support. 
  •  Strong hands-on experience with Teamcenter ITK (C/C++), SOA, BMIDE, workflow handlers, extensions, Active Workspace configuration, and customization. 
  • Strong understanding of Teamcenter architecture, data modelling, deployment, access control, performance tuning, and upgrade-safe solution design. 
  • Strong product-structure knowledge covering EBOM, DBOM, MBOM, BOM alignment, variant management, effectivity, and change management. 
  • Hands-on experience with MCAD integration and CAD data-management processes, preferably with Creo and/or CATIA. 
  • Hands-on experience with ECAD integration, preferably Siemens Xpedition, including ECAD project data, component/BOM management, and ECAD-to-PLM publishing processes.
  • Implementation or configuration experience with the Teamcenter Program Management module, including projects, schedules, milestones, deliverables, governance, and reporting. 
  • Implementation or configuration experience with the Teamcenter Supplier Quality module, including supplier collaboration, quality planning, APQP/PPAP-related processes, and quality deliverables. 
  • Integration and middleware experience using eQube or an equivalent platform, REST/SOAP APIs, message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ/MQ), microservices, and enterprise integration patterns. 
  • Working knowledge of Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server, including SQL queries, schemas, indexing, data analysis, and query optimization.  Strong stakeholder communication, analytical problem-solving, technical leadership, documentation, and mentoring skills.  

Bonus Points if You Have

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent
  • Scripting and automation experience using Python, Shell/PowerShell, or Groovy.
  • Knowledge of SAP integration, manufacturing planning, supplier collaboration, and downstream enterprise processes.
  • Experience leading solution workshops, estimations, technical proposals, and distributed implementation teams.
