About The Position
The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and coordination support throughout the recruitment and hiring process. This position works closely with Recruiters, Hiring Managers, candidates, and Human Resources to ensure a positive and efficient candidate experience from application through onboarding.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule phone, virtual, and in-person interviews between candidates and Hiring Managers.
- Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process and provide timely updates regarding their application and interview status.
- Assist Recruiters with sourcing and identifying qualified candidates through job boards, social media platforms, employee referrals, career fairs, and other recruiting resources.
- Review applications and resumes and assist with initial candidate screening as needed.
- Maintain accurate candidate information and recruitment activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Post and manage job openings on internal and external job boards and career sites.
- Assist with coordinating employment offers, pre-employment requirements, background checks, reference checks, and other hiring documentation.
- Support the onboarding process by preparing new hire packets, coordinating required pre-employment documents, creating employee files, and assisting with HRIS data entry.
- Coordinate internal transfer and promotion processes, including scheduling interviews, preparing required documentation, and communicating with employees and Hiring Managers.
- Assist with recruitment marketing initiatives and maintaining the company’s presence on social media platforms to support employer branding and attract qualified candidates.
- Coordinate participation in career fairs, job fairs, community events, and other recruiting initiatives.
- Maintain applicant and recruitment records in accordance with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Track recruitment activity, open positions, candidate progress, and other relevant recruiting metrics and reports.
- Follow up with Hiring Managers and Recruiters to ensure timely communication and progress throughout the hiring process.
- Provide general administrative support to the Recruiting and Human Resources teams.
- Ensure a professional and positive candidate experience throughout all stages of the recruitment process.
- Stay current on recruiting practices, employment trends, and applicable employment regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, human resources, administrative support, or a related field preferred.
- Experience coordinating interviews and communicating with candidates and Hiring Managers.
- Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS); iCIMS experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with job boards, social media platforms, and other recruiting resources.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and confidential information.
- Ability to interact professionally and effectively with candidates, employees, Hiring Managers, and external partners.
- Basic knowledge of federal and state employment regulations, including EEOC and ADA guidelines.
- Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and administrative skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to identify and organize relevant information and assist with preparing reports and tracking recruitment data.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.
Salary: $21.25 - $27.50 per hour
