About the location:
Blending imaginative urban design on the banks of the St. Johns River, Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Jacksonville will be the centerpiece of the Jacksonville Shipyards, ideally located adjacent to the Sports Complex and proposed Stadium of the Future – a renovated and reimagined EverBank Stadium that will serve as home to the Jacksonville Jaguars while playing host to national and international sports and entertainment events for generations to come.About the role:
The Director of Food & Beverage is a senior leader within the Hotel Leadership team, responsible for the strategic direction, pre‑opening execution, and ongoing performance of all food and beverage operations across the hotel and residences. The role is central to delivering an ultra‑luxury, experience‑driven F&B offering that reflects the destination’s sustainability values, sense of place, and brand positioning. The Director of Food & Beverage oversees multiple outlets and service environments, ensures operational excellence and financial performance, and leads, develops, and inspires high‑performing teams.

What you will do:
Lead the pre‑opening planning and execution of all Food & Beverage operations, including concept development, outlet mix, service models, and operating procedures.
Define and deliver a cohesive Food & Beverage vision aligned with the hotel’s ultra‑luxury positioning, sustainability values, and destination identity.
Oversee all F&B outlets and experiences, including restaurants, bars, lounges, banqueting, events, beach service, and in‑residence dining.
Drive financial performance through strategic pricing, cost control, forecasting, and revenue optimization in partnership with Finance and Commercial teams.
Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to ensure seamless integration of culinary and service excellence across all dining concepts.
Recruit, lead, and develop high‑performing F&B teams, establishing strong leadership structures and succession planning from pre‑opening onward.
Set and enforce service standards, quality assurance, and guest experience benchmarks, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
Ensure full compliance with health, safety, licensing, and regulatory requirements, as well as brand and corporate operational standards.
Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Events teams to create compelling dining experiences, destination programming, and revenue‑driving initiatives.
Act as a visible leader and ambassador for the hotel’s F&B offering, supporting VIP guests, owners, media activities, and signature events.
What you bring:
Three to five years of experience as a Director of Food & Beverage with Four Seasons or similar organization preferred, ideally including pre‑opening projects.
Strong expertise in multi‑outlet operations, encompassing fine dining, bars, banquets, events, and hotel‑style service environments.
Demonstrated ability to drive commercial performance while maintaining exceptional guest experience standards.
Exceptional leadership and people development capabilities, with experience building and scaling teams in complex operations.
Strong strategic, operational, and financial acumen, with a hands‑on leadership approach suited to pre‑opening and luxury environments.
