What you will be doing 

As an Audit Senior Associate, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality audit and assurance services while building trusted relationships with clients and colleagues. 

You will: 

• Lead and coordinate audit fieldwork for a diverse portfolio of clients. 
• Supervise and support junior team members, helping them learn and develop. 
• Build strong working relationships with clients and become a trusted point of contact during audit engagements. 
• Review financial information and assess key risks and controls. 
• Apply audit methodologies and technologies to deliver efficient, high-quality work. 
• Collaborate with managers and senior leaders to address complex business and accounting matters. 
• Stay up to date with regulatory, economic and industry developments. 
• Contribute to business development activities and identify opportunities to create additional value for clients. 
• Continue developing your technical expertise, leadership skills and professional network across PwC. 

What you will bring along 

We're looking for someone who is curious, collaborative and committed to delivering quality. 

You will ideally have: 

• A university degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration or a related field. 

• Two to four years of experience in external audit within a professional services environment. 

• Strong knowledge of auditing principles and methodologies. 

• Familiarity with IFRS and Croatian Financial Reporting Standards. 

• Understanding of risk-based auditing, internal controls and risk management frameworks. 

• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. 

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills. 

• Confidence working both independently and as part of a team. 

• Excellent written and spoken Croatian and English language skills. 

• Flexibility to travel when required for client engagements.
