Description

YouGov is powered by a proprietary global panel of engaged members. Our mission is to build the world’s best panel — made up of millions of members who experience the most enjoyable, engaging, and rewarding data-sharing experience of any data company in the world.

The Panel Growth team is responsible for building, activating, and sustaining this panel across markets. This includes member acquisition, engagement and retention strategies, and member support operations — ensuring a representative, responsive, and high-quality panel that underpins the company’s products and long-term success.

As we expand our performance marketing experimentation into new channels, we are scaling our advertising efforts and increasing our ability to test and learn at pace. This role plays a critical part in enabling that agility.

Role Purpose

Lead the conception, execution, and delivery of high-quality visual communications across digital touchpoints, ensuring brand integrity, creative excellence, and timely project delivery aligned to business objectives.

The role reports to the VP of Panel Growth and works under the creative guidance of the Lead Product Designer (Platform), ensuring alignment with established design standards.

Role Accountability

Visual Strategy & Excellence: Deliver high-level visual concepts aligned to strategic objectives, maintaining quality and consistency.

Brand Stewardship: Maintain and evolve brand guidelines across digital touchpoints.

Project Lifecycle: Own end-to-end delivery from ideation to final production, ensuring timely, high-quality execution.

Cross-Functional Alignment: Translate stakeholder goals into effective visual communications that drive engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conceptualise and produce high-quality assets (email, advertising, social, web components, motion graphics).
  • Enable rapid experimentation by delivering high-volume, fast-turnaround ad variations to support testing and scaling across existing and emerging marketing channels.
  • Refine and scale brand guidelines to ensure continued relevance and competitiveness.
  • Manage multiple project timelines and priorities simultaneously.
  • Oversee file preparation, output formats, and production standards to ensure flawless implementation.
  • Partner cross-functionally to translate strategic briefs into tangible design solutions.

Technical Skills

  • Expert knowledge of layout, typography, and visual hierarchy.
  • 4–6 years' professional graphic design experience with a strong brand and digital portfolio.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ability to translate ideas into appealing visual concepts that effectively communicate to the target audience.
  • Experience developing scalable design templates and systems for use by non-designers, ensuring brand consistency while enabling self-serve execution.
  • Experience designing for multiple languages across different cultural contexts, as we operate in 55+ markets.
  • Basic HTML/CSS proficiency, particularly for email marketing.
  • Experience in motion graphics and video production standards.

Behavioural Competencies

  • Creative problem-solver with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Adaptable in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
  • Demonstrates ownership of end-to-end deliverables.
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator.
  • Communicates design rationale clearly in business terms.

Understanding diversity of opinion requires diversity of background. Although our global panel of millions of people worldwide powers our research, our biggest asset is our people. If our research is to be truly representative of what the world thinks, we need people from all walks of life to be part of the team to bring their perspective to the work we do.
