Our studios are considered one of the foremost motion picture and television production and post-production facilities in the world. They inform, engage, and transport audiences to new worlds. Your New Role…

The role of Performer (Quidditch Player) will sit within the Show Experience Department at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London, whose team members are key to creating an experience that exceeds visitors’ expectations at every step. This exciting role offers the opportunity to bring the Quidditch uniforms worn throughout the Harry Potter films to life - engaging with visitors, posing for photos, and creating magical experiences that visitors never forget.

We are seeking performers with strong acting, animation and improvisational ability, who are keen to engage with the world of Harry Potter and with to up to 7,000 visitors per day.

Note, no stunt experience is required.

Good availability throughout the run (beginning mid-Jan and ending mid-April) is required due to the nature of the role, the training commitments involved, and the fixed duration of the contract. All rehearsals and training must be attended by all successful candidates.

Your Accountabilities…

• Deliver exceptional visitor experiences by bringing the Harry Potter story to life through engaging, energetic and authentic interactions with visitors.

• Perform all assigned show elements to a consistently high standard, demonstrating professionalism, characterisation and enthusiasm in line with Show Experience direction.

• Maintain exceptional presentation standards, including costume, hair and make-up, ensuring full compliance with show requirements and brand expectations.

• Take ownership of daily responsibilities by managing time effectively, arriving fully prepared for scheduled performances and supporting the smooth delivery of operations.

• Uphold a safe, organised and professional working environment, taking care of allocated costumes, props, equipment and backstage spaces.

• Collaborate effectively with other performers, interactors, team leaders and management, fostering a positive, inclusive and supportive team culture.

• Embrace change with curiosity and flexibility whilst championing inclusion through empathy, integrity, respect and transparent communication.

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong skills in acting and performing essential

• Keen spatial awareness essential

• Improvisational ability within clear character guidelines essential

• Strong level of stamina required

• To portray our characters, actors must convincingly portray a playing age of 13-18 years old

• All performers must be comfortable styling their hair and/or makeup independently, with the guidance of Show Experience Management according to the requirements of the character they are portraying

• Character presentation standards for this role include being clean-shaven for all shifts. We welcome applications from candidates for whom this may not be possible; please raise this at application stage so we can discuss available options

• Any tattoos must not be visible

• Hair must be of natural tone or willing to be dyed to a natural shade once the run begins

• Comfortable being photographed and videoed by and with visitors

• Comfortable handling props with a variety of shapes and weights

• Able to contribute positively and enjoy working effectively as part of a large and varied team

• Demonstrable ability to learn new skills and adapt to new situations within a visitor focused environment

• Eagerness to exceed expectations and go the extra mile at every opportunity

Terms & Conditions

You will be required to work weekends as part of this working pattern. Weekend work includes both Saturday and Sunday.  All working patterns will include weekends and Bank Holidays.

Your normal hours of work are between 9am and 8pm, but this will vary on a rotational basis.

You will be required to perform for 5-10 minutes, every 20 minutes, with a short break in between each set. There may be the potential to perform light lifting and work outdoors in all weather conditions as you transfer from the green room space into your performance space.

The area that you perform in will contain large crowds, water-based smoke effects, show lighting and loud noises. Please ensure that you are comfortable working in these conditions before applying.

All applicants must be available for the following dates:

• 12th – 14th October – Auditions

• 15th – 16th October – Recall Auditions

• 3rd Nov – 9th Dec – Costume Fittings (1 hour slot on a weekday)

• 7th -8th January - Training

• 11th – 22nd January – Rehearsals

• 23rd January – 19th April – This role will be a hybrid arrangement with your current role. Exact shift allocation will be discussed post-casting. Your current contracted hours will be met and may be exceeded across the length of this contract due to the longer shift times required for this role.

Note – there may be the opportunity to extend the contract into summer. This may be subject to a second audition closer to the extension date. Please register your interest upon application.

Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement, where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
