Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Control in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide professional customer service to tenants and visitors. You will document observations using computer or tablet systems and communicate clearly with the team. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of commercial real estate buildings, parking areas, loading docks, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for occupants and guests.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
