The Salesforce Project Manager leads the end-to-end delivery of complex Salesforce transformation initiatives that solve real-world business challenges and deliver measurable client value. This role is responsible for translating strategic objectives into executable plans, aligning cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects are delivered within scope, on schedule, and within budget.

As a trusted client advisor and people leader, the Salesforce Project Manager oversees internal and client teams, manages project risks and financial performance, and promotes delivery excellence through Agile practices, effective governance, and continuous improvement. The Manager also contributes to team development, business growth, and the advancement of project management capabilities across the organization.

 

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing technology implementation or digital transformation projects, including responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, risks, resources, and client outcomes.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience leading Salesforce implementation projects or programs.
• Demonstrated experience delivering multiple complex, enterprise-level projects from initiation through completion.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams that include business analysts, architects, developers, quality assurance professionals, designers, and client stakeholders.
• Experience creating and maintaining comprehensive project plans, resource plans, budgets, forecasts, risk registers, status reports, and governance materials.
• Experience managing project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, resource utilization, and scope-change management.
• Experience applying Agile delivery practices and selecting appropriate frameworks based on project needs.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, assess, communicate, and mitigate project risks and delivery dependencies.
• Experience presenting project status, recommendations, and escalations to executive and C-level stakeholders.
• Experience coaching, mentoring, or managing project team members.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, negotiation, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
• Ability to travel as required based on client and project needs.
• Current professional certifications in both of the following areas: Project management or Agile delivery, such as PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Agilist, or an equivalent certification; such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Business Analyst, Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, or another relevant Salesforce certification.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 7 or more years of experience leading enterprise technology implementations, with significant experience in consulting or professional services.
• Experience managing large-scale or multi-workstream Salesforce transformation programs.
• Advanced Salesforce certifications or multiple certifications across Salesforce clouds and platform capabilities.
• Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Data Cloud, or industry-specific Salesforce solutions.
• Experience leading distributed, hybrid, or globally based delivery teams.
• Experience managing third-party vendors, subcontractors, and technology partners.
• Strong understanding of project governance, quality management, change management, and business process improvement.
• Experience supporting proposals, statements of work, project estimation, resource planning, and other business-development activities.
• Demonstrated success developing project management talent and contributing to recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and performance management.
• Ability to identify opportunities for account growth and build trusted, long-term client relationships.
• Track record of improving delivery processes, sharing leading practices, and contributing to organizational knowledge and thought leadership.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $108,200.00 - $221,100.00 per year.
