Senior Manufacturing Data Architect – Snowflake, MES & Industrial Data

MaxIT Consulting – Max Corporate Group is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Data Architect to join a major Data Transformation initiative for a global company in the food and consumer goods industry.

This role sits at the intersection of Data Architecture, Manufacturing and Plant Operations, connecting complex industrial environments with modern Data, Analytics and Cloud technologies.

We are looking for an experienced professional capable of understanding manufacturing processes and translating operational and business requirements into scalable, high-performance enterprise data architectures.

The position is part of a growing international team and offers significant exposure to a modern industrial data ecosystem.

THE CHALLENGE

You will be responsible for designing, building and managing the data architecture supporting manufacturing and plant operations, integrating information from multiple industrial and enterprise systems.

The role combines deep knowledge of data architecture and enterprise data modeling with a strong understanding of manufacturing environments.

You will help bridge the gap between plant-floor systems, enterprise applications and modern cloud-based data platforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and evolve the data architecture for Manufacturing and Plant Operations.
• Define and implement enterprise data models.
• Translate business and operational requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Design data integrations across industrial, operational and enterprise systems.
• Work with data originating from MES, SCADA, ERP, LIMS and CMMS/EAM environments.
• Design and implement data solutions using Snowflake.
• Contribute to the definition and evolution of Semantic Layers.
• Build and support transformation and modeling processes using dbt.
• Participate in solutions leveraging Snowflake Cortex.
• Develop or collaborate on data solutions using Snowpark and Python.
• Work closely with Data, Architecture, Manufacturing, Operations and Business teams.
• Ensure best practices across architecture, integration, data quality, performance and scalability.
• Support the continuous modernization of the manufacturing data ecosystem.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise data models.
• Strong experience in Data Architecture.
• Solid understanding of Manufacturing and Plant Operations.
• Experience and/or strong knowledge of MES systems.
• Knowledge of SCADA platforms.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of LIMS environments.
• Experience and/or knowledge of CMMS/EAM solutions.
• Proven experience with Snowflake.
• Experience with or solid knowledge of Semantic Layers.
• Experience working with dbt.
• Knowledge of Snowflake Cortex.
• Experience with Snowpark and/or Python.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable and high-performance data solutions.
• Experience working across multidisciplinary and international teams.
• Advanced English is required, as the role involves regular communication within a global project environment.
