As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver License Compliance in Palo Alto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. - Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of office spaces, building exteriors, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, maintaining accurate logs and escalating concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site contacts, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
- Possess a 40 Caliber Endorsement.
- Possess a California Weapons Permit with a 9mm Caliber Endorsement.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
