Senior Trusts & Estates Attorney – Los Angeles (10+ Years, HNW Experience)
Offit Kurman, a growing full-service Am Law 200 firm, is seeking a Senior Trusts & Estates Attorney for our Los Angeles office. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, entrepreneurial team serving high-net-worth (HNW) individuals, families, and business owners.
Responsibilities:
- Advise HNW clients on estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer (GST) tax planning.
- Design and implement advanced planning strategies, including GRATs, IDGTs, SLATs, charitable trusts, family limited partnerships, and other sophisticated structures.
- Oversee complex estate and trust administration.
- Counsel on business succession planning, philanthropic planning, and wealth transfer strategies.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor.
Qualifications:
- Admission to practice in California is required
- 10+ years of trusts & estates experience with a strong focus on advanced planning for HNW clients.
- Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
