Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Senior Staff Reliability Engineer to join our team at Hartford Global Services. This role involves leading reliability engineering initiatives, ensuring the robust performance and longevity of our products and systems.
Job Responsibilities**
* Lead and execute reliability engineering activities throughout the product lifecycle, from concept to end-of-life.
* Develop, implement, and maintain reliability programs, processes, and procedures.
* Conduct complex reliability analyses, including FMEA, FTA, HALT, HASS, and Weibull analysis.
* Define and track key reliability metrics and drive continuous improvement efforts.
* Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to identify and mitigate reliability risks.
* Perform root cause analysis of failures and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
* Develop and execute reliability test plans, including accelerated life testing and field reliability monitoring.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior reliability engineers.
* Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in reliability engineering.
* Prepare and present detailed reliability reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
* 10+ years of experience in reliability engineering within a relevant industry.
* Proven expertise in reliability methodologies and tools (e.g., FMEA, FTA, Weibull, Minitab).
* Strong understanding of statistical analysis and data interpretation.
* Experience with reliability prediction software and modeling.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to work independently and lead complex projects.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Certifications such as Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) are a plus.
