Motivational leader and as a problem solver, you will contribute towards building and managing the ad operations team and provide guidance on a wide range of topics from campaign setup to creation to advanced trafficking strategies. In addition, you will be a strong advocate and leader for your team of direct reports.
What You’ll Do
- Work closely with internal teams to guarantee client satisfaction on both programmatic and direct campaigns
- Manage day-to-day trafficking of ad campaigns across the company's owned and operated properties as well as any external distribution platforms
- Manage the delivery and optimization of ad campaigns to ensure they fulfil accurately
- Create daily delivery report analysis for general over-delivery, under delivery and pacing reporting mechanisms
- Overseeing workload/performance within the team, assigning projects, and career growth/mentorship for direct reports.
- Staying educated on key developments in the ever-changing digital advertising ecosystem. Define the scope and training plans on new developments and rolling them out to the team
- Continually developing our new hire training and SOP/documentation with a focus on constant improvement and knowledge growth
- Work closely with Sales, Account Management from campaign scheduling to ensuring smooth delivery of assets and media, meeting and surpassing advertisers’ expectations
- Review dashboards and reports and suggest changes to efficiently increase performance on campaigns
- Troubleshoot various tracking problems and document internal procedures, policies, and tutorials
- Conduct regular scheduled meetings to review the progress of campaigns and resolve issues as needed
- Build multi-stakeholder relationships by collaborating with Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, and other teams to inform, test, and implement product and operational improvements
What You’ll bring
- B.E. or B.Tech. degree in Computer Science or other stream
- 5+ years of previous people management experience and an overall of 9+ years of experience in Ad Operations domain
- Strong familiarity with ad serving technologies, platforms and tools with hands on working experience
- Ability to build, attract and manage talent pool of Ad Operations team by providing them a clear vision and act as a leader in guiding the team for success
- Proficiency in ad servers and DSPs Required Skills & Experience (DSPs (e.g., Google Ad Manager, DV360, TTD, Yahoo DSP, Amazon DSP).
- Experience with trafficking tools and reporting platforms and familiarity with workflow and CRM tools: Jira, Salesforce
- Understanding of CTV/OTT, video, and display ecosystems
- Superior operational knowledge & negotiation skills to lead multi-operational functions & principles
- Proven ability to develop innovative solutions for yielding optimal operational productivity & performance
- Proficient analytical and data handling skills along with strong Ops experience
- Minute attention to detail to capture smallest of anomalies in executed tasks
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams, stakeholders across geographies
- Proven versatility to switch between varying topics and yet handle each theme with balancing moderation
- Lead & motivate team, develop long-term operational strategies & handle rapidly shifting business demands
