What you'll get to do:
Develop, modify, apply and maintain quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product.
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.
Ensure that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards.
Identify and review product non-conformances
Use data to make Quality decisions
Support Functional/Physical Process Assessments.
Interpretation of drawings and MIL-STDs
Dispositioning and handling of HW defects and non-conformances.
Participate in the resolution of any quality requirements non-conformance, Standard Repairs or exceptions
Design and analyze inspection processes, mechanisms and equipment; conduct quality assurance tests; and perform statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
Audit quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.
Initiate Corrective Action Plans and work with suppliers, manufacturing, and engineering personnel to identify the root cause and ensure robust corrective actions are implemented.
Ensure that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards, and that documentation is compliant with requirements. Work from engineering drawings, diagrams, customer specifications, inspection instructions, and checklists to ensure items meet required specifications and quality standards
Lead and implement Continuous Improvements to reduce defect count on manufacturing floor.
Basic Qualification for the Sr Principal Quality Analyst:
Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Data Analysis, or Statistical Analysis: Master Degree with 6 years of experience: Associates with 10 years of experience: OR 12 years of experience with Quality, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Data Analysis, or Statistical Analysis.
QMS (AS9100, ISO 9001, etc.) experience.
Auditing experience.
Data Analysis and/or Statistical Analysis experience.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
U.S Citizenship Required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Lean Six Sigma Green / Black Belt certification or experience.
Active Secret Clearance.
Experience leadership in a Quality or Manufacturing environment.
SAP experience.
Experience using Microsoft Excel, Minitab or equivalent tools for statistical analysis.
Certified auditor.

Primary Level Salary Range: $117,500.00 - $176,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
