The Global Procurement Operations Director is responsible for leading regional Procurement Operations teams that support the end-to-end Purchase Order-to-Pay (P2P) service delivery model. This role partners closely with global Procurement Category teams, suppliers, and cross-functional collaborators to drive operational excellence, transform service delivery, and support business objectives.
The successful candidate will establish strategic direction, optimize procurement processes, and foster a customer-centric culture while using digital technologies, automation, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance operational performance. This leader will be responsible for building high-performing teams, driving continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, and aligning procurement operations with long-term business strategies.
## Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a multi-year Procurement Operations strategy aligned with business objectives, collaborator needs, and evolving supplier landscapes.
- Lead regional Procurement Operations teams across Purchase Order-to-Pay processes, ensuring effective service delivery, operational excellence, and global consistency.
- Drive AI and automation adoption within Procurement Operations, applying AI best-known methods (BKMs), intelligent workflows, and human-in-the-loop solutions to improve efficiency, decision-making, and collaborator experiences.
- Establish, monitor, and continuously improve key performance indicators (KPIs), service metrics, operational controls, and departmental performance plans.
- Partner with senior business leaders, Procurement Category teams, and global collaborators to develop and implement strategic solutions that support business growth and operational effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and procurement procedures while maintaining strong governance and risk management practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, business partners, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues, manage conflict, and promote a customer-focused approach.
- Lead, mentor, and develop procurement leaders and teams while effectively communicating corporate initiatives, strategic priorities, and organizational objectives.
## Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of leadership experience managing large-scale procurement, supply chain, or operations organizations.
- 12+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably supporting High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) environments.
- 5+ years of experience in a global operations, procurement, or supply chain leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience establishing operational metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and leading strategic transformation programs.
- Proven proficiency in AI, automation, and data-driven decision making, with experience leading AI-enabled business transformation initiatives.
## Preferred Qualifications
- 5-10 years of semiconductor process and equipment knowledge.
- Experience implementing AI-enabled procurement solutions, human-in-the-loop workflows, and intelligent process automation.
- Strong executive collaborator management skills with experience influencing senior leaders across global organizations.
- Track record of leading large-scale operational transformation and cost optimization initiatives within manufacturing environments.
- Experience managing global teams and driving standardized solutions across multiple regions and functions.
