What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed by site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions or policy concerns, and maintain accurate incident and activity documentation.
• Communicate professionally with healthcare personnel, visitors, and emergency responders while following post orders and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in hospital morgue areas.
• Must be able to restrain individuals as necessary.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
