The Ingraham Angle is looking for an Associate Producer to join our Washington, D.C. team. This role offers hands-on experience across all aspects of news production in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. You'll help shape daily coverage by researching stories, pitching original ideas, and booking guests. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated journalist looking to build a long-term career in cable news.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Pitch original story ideas and guests
Research stories and compile research packets
Conduct guest pre-interviews
Write introductions, teases, and on-screen banners
Select video, sound, and graphic elements to support segments
Monitor breaking news and book guests as stories develop
Support producers and the editorial team with daily production needs
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience
Experience with national news production
Strong editorial judgment with excellent news instincts
A passion for breaking news and current events
Experience researching, writing, and producing news content under tight deadlines
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Familiarity with iNEWS, Dalet, and Viz is preferred; the ability to quickly learn new newsroom systems is essential

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $67,000.00-75,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
