As we continue to expand our Advisory capabilities, we are seeking a Managing Director, to provide strategic leadership for a growing national practice. This role can be performed remotely within the United States or in a hybrid capacity from any Cherry Bekaert U.S. office.

As a Managing Director, you will:
Lead and oversee a functional area within the practice, providing strategic direction that supports the firm’s Advisory growth objectives.
Guide managers and senior leaders responsible for designing and delivering solutions for clients.
Collaborate with firm leadership to develop and execute the strategic vision for the practice, including growth initiatives, service expansion, and operational excellence.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to align solution delivery with client goals and evolving business needs.
Drive high-quality engagement execution while balancing scope, timelines, profitability, utilization, and client satisfaction objectives.
Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities, expanding existing client relationships, and contributing to revenue growth across the practice.
Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development support to managers and team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Champion innovation and the adoption of emerging technologies that enhance business intelligence, analytics, automation, and digital transformation capabilities.
Promote cross-functional collaboration to deliver integrated solutions that help clients optimize operations, improve decision-making, and achieve measurable business outcomes.
Support the achievement of practice goals related to revenue growth, profitability, utilization, talent development, and client experience.
What you bring to the role:
Bachelor’s degree required.
10+ years of relevant consulting, technology, or related experience.
5+ years of leadership experience managing managers, senior managers, or other business leaders.
Demonstrated success leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced, client-facing environment..
Practical understanding of how people, processes, data, and technology can be aligned to improve business performance.
Proven business development experience, including identifying opportunities, expanding client relationships, and contributing to revenue growth.
Strong executive presence with the ability to influence stakeholders and communicate effectively through presentations, meetings, video calls, and written communications.
Experience resolving complex business and operational challenges while balancing competing priorities and deadlines.
Ability to lead organizational change initiatives and help teams successfully adapt to evolving technologies and client demands.
Strong project and engagement management capabilities, including financial management, resource planning, and risk mitigation.
Demonstrated commitment to developing talent through coaching, mentorship, career planning, and performance leadership.
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights and recommendations.
Passion for innovation, emerging technologies, and helping organizations maximize the value of their digital investments.

The salary range for this position is included below. Individual salaries within this range are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education, knowledge, skills, and geographic location.
